Photography is not something new to John, who enjoys writing descriptions of himself in the third person. Ever since his Mom let him use her Roliflex medium format camera, and Polaroid instamatic he’s been fascinated with still images. It’s only been since 2000 that he’s kicked it up a notch and pursued his hobby with passion.

John doesn't specialize in just one thing. Beauty is everywhere (except Bakersfield) and he has no limits. He has covered red carpets for the Oscars, castles in Scotland, Harajuku girls in Japan, horse races in England, Oktoberfest in Germany, babies, big babies, pro-athletes, random strangers, models, trains, planes, automobiles and the Loch Ness Monster (twice). His shots have appeared on billboards, magazines, newspapers, travel websites and even some guys term paper in India. He gets a rush at weddings because nothing he feels there is nothing more beautiful than a bride on her wedding day. For his weddings, he combines Photojournalism with Fine Art, capturing what is happening naturally, while also accounting for unique lighting, proper backgrounds and genuine expressions. His goal is to give his couples shots that make it appear as if they were guests at their own wedding.
